Summer is nearly upon us, and we're proud to announce that we'll be hosting a series of free concerts during The L Magazine's own Northside Festival at Pete's Candy Store. We will be presenting these shows throughout the entire festival, and look forward to seeing you.

In addition to the shows being free, Pete's has a great backyard area for hanging out as well as some really excellent drink concoctions. Stay tuned, we'll be announcing the full lineup a bit later on.

Finally, L Mag are hooking us up with a bunch of badges to giveaway that will get you into shows for free during the entire festival.

Many artists will be playing this, and highlights of so far include Jens Lekman, of Montreal, GZA (performing Liquid Swords with Grupo Fantasma), The Olivia Tremor Control, Ultramagnetic MC’s, The Thermals, Ceremony, Tinariwen, Starfucker, Kool Keith, The Felice Brothers, Dâm-Funk, Future of the Left, Asobi Seksu, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Crystal Stilts, Beach Fossils, Mucca Pazza, Chain and the Gang, and Frankie Rose.
